High school seniors can apply for this grant once accepted by the College. To apply, applicants must submit a letter requesting consideration of this grant along with a written letter of recommendation from a guidance counselor or teacher. The Presidential Grant Committee selects recipients based upon scholastic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA is required to apply) and written letters. The College awards three grants a year at both the Johnstown and Indiana campuses. Each grant is valued up to one-half of the total tuition cost. Students will receive one-half of the total tuition cost unless federal and state financial grant aid and other in-house scholarships awarded to the student exceed one-half the tuition cost, in which case the Presidential Grant will cover the balance owed by the student.
This scholarship is awarded by CRBC each year. Two scholarships are awarded at a value of up to $7000 each. Members of the Pennsylvania Cooperative Education Association may apply for this scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to a student chosen by the PCEA Scholarship Committee. It will be based on the student's involvement in PCEA. The organization will use the students resume, high school transcript, recommendations from faculty, training plan and formal interview in front of the committee to determine the recipient of the PCEA Scholarship. One scholarship will be awarded at each campus to a deserving student with a value of up to $7000. This scholarship will be awarded at $1166 per quarter in any of the degree programs offered by CRBC.
